Sunday 10am: Botanical Printmaking with Melissa Beckwith
Discover the magic of printmaking in this hands-on monoprint workshop inspired by the natural world. Using an 8" x 10" gelatin plate and a palette of acrylic paints, participants will learn the fundamentals of gel plate printmaking while creating one-of-a-kind prints. We’ll work with leaves, grasses, and flowers to build layered, botanical compositions that celebrate texture, pattern, and the beauty of organic forms. This class is welcoming to beginners and those with prior printmaking experience, offering space for experimentation, creativity, and playful exploration.
This workshop is taught by local artist Melissa Beckwith of www.melissabeckwith.com.
